About Us

Looking for a toy for a special needs child in your life?

SpecialNeedsGifts.com offers hand-picked, reasonably-priced gifts that help kids with Down syndrome, Autism, ADD, SPD, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Integration Impairment, developmental delays and other special needs.

Why should you trust us to help you with this important decision?

This is my nephew, Mason.  Don’t let his gorgeous face fool you.  He is one tough kiddo!

Mason fought his way into this world on September 15, 2012 with an unexpected birth diagnosis of Down Syndrome and several related health issues.  Let’s just say it was an interesting year for first-time parents (my sister, Jenny and brother-in-law, Nick) as they quickly got up to speed on best ways to care for Mason and get him well.

About Us

Mason from the moment I laid eyes on him until his 1st birthday this month.

One year later, my nephew is strong, happy, healthy and conquering milestones at his own pace. He has had a dramatic impact on everyone that he touches and I am completely in love with him.

There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t realize how thankful I am to all the folks who have supported Mason and his family. Without the support system that they’ve had, Mason’s first year would have been a whole lot tougher.

It is for that reason, that I started SpecialNeedsGifts.com with a goal to help parents, friends and family members select gifts that help children with Down syndrome, Autism, ADD, SPD, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Integration Impairment, developmental delays and other special needs.  The gifts on this site were hand-picked by parents who have children with special needs and are reasonably priced (for the most part).  Each of the gifts encourage fine-motor and gross-motor skills, speech, communication, imagination, cognition and social skills.
